Haven’t been posting in a long time

… Sorry for that… I couldn’t write, post and of all take photos for the photo challenges :/ But I was pretty pretty busy, I was on stage with my Musical Group in my town which was pretty awesome (I’ll show you some pics later on)…

Have a great week, this week is my brithday and I’m going to prepare a little party with the motto “Superheros & Comics” I am pretty curious but very loking forward. Especially for my friends to come… I am looking forward to seeing Lu the most since we haven’t met since New Years

BIWYFI: Green

So, finally A beauty is where you find it photo challenge post again… Last year in may I had this kind of challenge for myself: through may I shot everyday (or at least I tried) a picture with something green, for green is for hope and it is my favorite colour

P52-12 #13: Art!?

art for art’s sake, like it’s said in “The Picture Of Dorian Gray” but do I really know what art is about? Have no idea… While I was driving home the last time I had this view out of my windscreen, the lying moon and red traffic lights, I liked it and call it: art.

Swap It!

Hey there!

My very dear friend Lu from luvoeshandmade (you know it!) had an idea to swap handmade items with her friends and blog readers. So she asked me, if we two would swap some items and after thinking, because I am pretty busy these days I agreed to swap 3 items with her

So I thought what could I craft for her… Thecondition was making something for the topic “spring”… And I am pretty happy that spring has already come and inspired me with so many ideas, I couldn’t do all of them But then… I got sick. For a whole week I lay in bed and was not even able to knit or to crochet… I was bored but I didn’t have the energy to do anything Finally I got better and I could finish her package in time!

The first item I finished was a pair of crotched flower- earrings. I bought special crocheting yarn in white and rasperry red and with a crocheting pattern I copied a year ago when I was starting to crochet I made these pretty ones I am going to start crocheting even more earrings of these kind (not exactly these, but kind of) and maybe also some necklaces or collars

Item No. 2 I finished was a painting. I painted an old canvas white, cut out some pretty pictures from a newspaper and glue them right on the wet paint. After it dried I smoothly painted some white paint over it for it would look a bit more ancient. I didn’t really made it well, but I still like it and for Lu loves typewriters and owls I hope she’ll like it, too!

So the last item: Something sewn (of course). And (of course) I had to use the fabric “rosali” from ikea since Lu is really in love with it, I’m sure if she could, she would have it as a wallpaper I made a paintbrush-case with several cases for the paintbrushes, and you can even roll it up and  strap it.

I also got her some spring- tea from Alnatura, a handprinted spring-card and 3 buttons from me (Mary Jane Insane buttons).

And this is what I got from her. Saturday morning I had it in the post but I promised her not to open it until she got her package!

Thank you Lu, for the great opportunity! I can only work under pressure which is not so great if you want to do some stuff but you are too lazy, so this “swap” made me doing something, which I wanted to do like all the time… And thank you for your nice gifts!

P52-12 # 12: monochrome

I didn’t really have a good idea on that… So I shot a photo of my sewing boy. I bought it years ago in a vintag shop in mainz, that already closed some years ago. It was called Teenage Wasteland and it was a treasure chest for people loving vintage stuff

Dress for Lu

As I posted weeks ago, I made something for my dear friend Lu. I made her a dress from her favorite fabric, I also have this one, but in another way Maybe you remember… I also had a shooting with it with another friend who is also called Lou Lu made a beautiful post about it on her blog, thank you honey for this great post!!! The photos are gorgeous!!! She made a perfect outfit in my opinion! She wore the red roses dress with a green cardigan, red tights, white shoes and a green bag! You have to see it!

Polaroid Time

Hi there!

I have a real passion for analogue photography. I even own a original Polaroid Camera, black with the rainbow stripe on it. I bought it years ago on ebay for 1 Euro!!! Since I have it I have to confess I did not shot one photo but one photo to test the camera It is working but I am still searching for cheap cassettes for the camera which is almost an impossible quiz

Here are some polaroid pictures friends of mine shot with a real polaroid camera and not a fake instagram or poladroid

The first polaroid I was on Some of my best friends visited me for New Year’s Eve 2011 in my old town to celebrate with me (actually I was having a gig but this one was pretty bad and awful so we skipped that!). And still I am so grateful they came!

I love big headphones and I cannot lie
