art for art’s sake, like it’s said in “The Picture Of Dorian Gray” but do I really know what art is about? Have no idea… While I was driving home the last time I had this view out of my windscreen, the lying moon and red traffic lights, I liked it and call it: art.

P52-12 # 12: monochrome
I didn’t really have a good idea on that… So I shot a photo of my sewing boy. I bought it years ago in a vintag shop in mainz, that already closed some years ago. It was called Teenage Wasteland and it was a treasure chest for people loving vintage stuff :)

P52-12 #10: Awakening
I love this topic! It instantly reminds me of the novel “Spring Awakening” which has also been brought to Broadway some years ago (also with lea Michele from Glee). There is also another novel called “The Awakening” and its by the female author Kate Chopin. To quote the first page of the book, what it is about “Written nearly one hundred years ago, THE AWAKENING is the compelling story of an extraordinarily modern woman struggling against the constrains of marriage and motherhhod, and slowly discovering the power of her own sexuality. Edna’s search for her own individuality touches the hearts of women who’ve learned the value of freedom and happiness, and her story is now regarded as a classic in American fiction”.
I bought the book exactly 6 years ago, march 2006, when I was finally graduating from school and I don’t really have a clue about the whole plot but I do know that I liked the story.
But, photos, awakening:
My flowers are beginning to bloom :) Also the hurt one I was already telling you about, it has a little bud growing every day a little more!

P52-12 # 8 & 9
For I missed last weeks competition (of course I had to miss one, but I was just too busy fighting against a virus on my PC) I am posting 2 topics for project 52-12 this time.
No. 8 was “Typical man/woman” and I actually did not really like the topic but I finally found something, that kind of “fits”… but not directly… (something like Terminator would fit perfectly!)
I love these kinds of cinema signs :)
And here’s topic No.9: I love…
I love my new town! Definately! And I love the weekly market on saturdays and the upcoming spring!!! It feels so good. The wind is already warm and the sun is shining so mad at me :) It’s great!
The new tofu-stand on the market, right next to the meat-stands :P
Not to forget: the shitting birds on the Münster!

P52-12 #7: intertwined
Perfectly in time, here comes my photo for week 7 on sari’s blog. This week I chose “intertwined”(verschlungen), I really like the word. As you can see on the picture, I made a neclace out of two intertwined strings of blue and black cotton jersey with an old key :)

Project 52-12 #5: Daydreamer
Daydreamer, sitting on the seat
Soaking up the sun
Looks good when he when he walks,
would be hard to chase,
But good to catch
And he could change the world with his hands behind his back,
Oh
- Adele, Daydreamer
Hello P-52ers and “daily” readers.
When I had my f****** cold sunday walk I accidentally ran into this perfect “Daydreamer” photo…(check out the other photos of week 5 by clicking the link)

(This duck is actually having a sunbath on the icy stone-corcodile in our little river “Bächle”)
Even the Adele- quote fits perfectly to the lovely duck(read it again).
I love ducks, I always did. When I was a little child my grandparents and parents had ducks since I can remember. I grew up with them, loved them when they were yellow and also when they grew up and turned brown, green and grey. Ducks are one of the few animals staying together as a couple all life long. Wheather they sleep with one eye open or in a circle: one group surrounds the sleeping ducks and take care of them and also the other way around.
Once I saw a duck couple walking side by side through Buxtehude (Lower Saxony, Germany- yes this town does exist!) and they were walking straight into a restaurant (no joke!) and the waiter just said: They are our daily guests. I hope they didn’t find place on a plate one day!
So long see you next week with the next P-52-12 photo!
edit: funny, while I was reading several articles I found “my” duck also on fudder.de :D

P52-12 #4:everyday’s hero and “January Sky”
Hello
I have to be fast writing the photo-challenge posts :) So I pout them into one!
First comes project 52 No.4, it’s “Alltagsheld“(the other participants may have chosen another topic for this week!) so like everday’s hero… I thought about that long time but didn’t come to a comblusion. So when I was walking through my room I found my everyday’s hero: Robert Smith <3
Coming to the next project: January Sky (Januar Himmel) by Luzia Pimpinella
I don’t really get the idea behind it (well shoting photos post them and link them and maybe get better by taking photos…but I don’t get if it is a challenge all over the year or not :D maybe someone can help me out??? Vivi???
So, these three are my January Sky:
didn’t reduce the colours, it WAS actually like that… View from my working place <3
Another day, same town. Freiburger Münster
Same day, same town, different place: Inside of Schwarzes Kloster, Freiburg. I was just having a hat-making course at the VHS… more to that on another post… (Actually I made two great hats, but I have to finish them, still!)
Have a great Febuary and shot as many photos as you can! Challenge??? ;)
